The Baroque Manětín chateau, the former residence of the Lažanský family is the heart of the picturesque town of Manětín, often called the "Baroque pearl of West Bohemia". Almost every step we meet with figures of Baroque saints that were left behind in the form of statues by outstanding artists from the mid 18th century - Štěpán Borovec and his pupil Joseph Herscher.
